09 Jun 366 Turning a passion into a fitness career with SARAH LUNA
Sarah Luna is the President of Xponential Fitness, a curator of leading brands across each vertical of the boutique fitness industry. She began her career pursuing dance with the Giordano Jazz Dance Company while also becoming certified as a comprehensive Pilates instructor that lead her to start her own business teaching Pilates. Sarah completed her MBA at Chapman University where she studied Entrepreneurship and was a recipient of a NSHMBA scholarship. She transitioned into fitness business operations and ownership where she set up the Pilates program at Equinox; bought, operated, and sold a Jazzercise franchise; and coached start-up businesses in the industry. She then grew Club Pilates from 28 open studios to over 400 as National Sales Director and SVP of Operations, before moving to President of Pure Barre upon its acquisition by Xponential, where she led the brand’s 600+ studios until her role as President for Xponential Fitness. She now leads efforts to drive efficiencies across all eight brands and Xponential departments, leads projects and partnerships, and manages efforts with the executive team to achieve their growth plans.
Sarah’s story of how she turned her passion into a full time fitness career is inspiring. Take a listen as Sarah not only encourages the listeners to dive into their passion, but she also talks about the benefits of owning and operating a franchise. Sarah is a true example of women empowerment!
