Top Tips From The Show
The hook to getting people to move more, sleep better and change their diet, is to help them become aware of how they feel in the moment.
When it comes to activity trackers we should be designing algorithms based on the core science of motivation and decision making – rather than just numbers and the future will do this. We will see activity trackers progress from ticks & numbers to feelings and enjoyment.
It is up to the fitness and health industry to help people understand that when they take better care of themselves through physical activity, they will start learning the benefits of, and developing the skill set for prioritising self care behaviour.
