Jim Worthington is the President and Owner of Newtown Athletic Club and Horsham Athletic Club. He has been in the fitness industry since 1978 and worked in all aspects of club management including sales, marketing, operations, programming and general management. Jim has overseen the growth and development of the Newtown Athletic Club from a 15,000 square foot racquet club on 3 acres to a 250,000 square foot health, wellness and recreation complex. Most recently, in 2015, Jim was inducted into the IHRSA Board of Directors.
During todays interview, we discuss the wellness business model, keys to having a great team, how Newtown Athletic Club is contributing to the community; and Jim shares his top three tips for being career success.
