Why I still love being a podcast host?
With a passion for education, I attended the University of Pittsburgh originally with the intention of going on to be professor of history. I believe the most effective way to plan for a successful tomorrow is by learning from yesterday’s lessons. Little did I realize at the time that all the while studying to secure my degree that I would fall in love with being a personal trainer.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” – Confucius
Even after twenty-five years working in the fitness industry I find myself still driven to help our industry’s professionals be the best versions of themselves through education. As a host of the Fitness Business Podcast I am able to reach out to the best-of-the-best when it comes to securing the best and brightest educators around the globe and then bring that education to our listeners.
I can think of no other role in our industry that would better fit my passion and am truly thankful to share with all of you.
If you have any questions about Thinking Ahead or if you want to request a trend for us to cover, then please pop me an email at jason@fitnessbusinesspodcast.com, I'd love to hear from you!
What 2020 taught me?
2020 has taught me that the fitness industry is not simply a conglomerate of competitors. When COVID-19 hit and our industry transitioned from, “enriching lives” to, “sustaining livelihoods” we came together to help each other weather the storm and identify best practices regardless of competition.

Oprah Winfrey: Was able to manifest tremendous personal and professional success by shear will. Wow.
Aristotle: For a better understanding of the meaning behind the word “why”.
Julius Caesar: Was an accomplished author and historian as well as a statesman. Was it all compulsion or temptation?
